Kissed by the Baddest Bidder: The Blue Mad Hatter, Rhion Hatter - Main Story Walkthrough

I am so happy that they finally released the Mad Hatter's route in English! I played the Japanese GREE version over the summer, and it has been my favorite story from the KBTBB series. Fortunately, I don't see any real differences between the stories - only a few translation things that I expected, a few minor background image changes, and some of the chapters were combined to create 13 instead of the original 15 (no content seems to be missing though).

One completely subjective observation is that I do feel like is that the character's personality came through more strongly (read: creepy) in the Japanese version because of the language choices.

Kissed by the Baddest Bidder Love Trap, Japanese GREE: Mad Hatter Master Post - Main Story Walkthrough, Summary, Commentary, and CGs

Apparently, I am not a patient woman. Call it obsession, but I can't leave things alone... Even though my Japanese is minimal, I decided to download the Japanese GREE version of Kissed by the Baddest Bidder just to play the Mad Hatter's route...

It's slow-going having to translate each frame, but I get to work on my Japanese at the same time, so there's a bonus. :)

I am really enjoying his route. I haven't felt this intrigued by a character in a loooooooong time. I've played all of the other character's main routes in the paid version and I didn't find them all that interesting. His story is honestly much more dynamic than most Voltage characters'.

Don't tease me, Voltage!

I don't usually post rants like this, but this one is kind of getting to me. A little more than a week ago, Voltage posted this. Note the use of the word AND. But only Hikaru is available at the moment... Many people have argued that they're one in the same and that's why it was posted this way.

Kissed by the Baddest Bidder: Soryu Oh - Season 1 Main Story Review and CGs

The  2nd character that has been released for Kissed by the Baddest Bidder is Soryu Oh.

From Eisuke's story, he intrigued me. He's a high-ranking member of a Hong Kong mafia group called the Ice Dragons. His personality is stoic for the most part, but he has a quick fuse (and he'll pull his gun on people without warning!). Unlike Eisuke, Soryu is actually quite kind - even though he often only shows it subtly. In his route, you're tasked with being the decoy for a mafia princess named Mei Ling. She is sent to Japan by her father to look for a husband, but she has no intention of getting married. Soryu is helps her get off the hook, but in the end, her father decides that Soryu should marry her. Will he go through with it? (Like you don't know the answer to that...)

Kissed by the Baddest Bidder: Eisuke Ichinomiya - Main Story Review and CG's

The first character available from Kissed by the Baddest Bidder is the owner of the casino, Eisuke Ichinomiya.

So let me level with you: I really disliked, even HATED, Eisuke. He was not only a jerk, but abusive. And by the end, even though he's still acting like a complete dick, it just "doesn't bother her anymore" that he treats her like garbage. He has so few redeeming sweet qualities like many similar characters in past games - and not enough to get him out of the dog house in my opinion. I doubt I'll play his other stories; I hated him that much! I'm still posting the CGs from this story, but don't expect more.

Kissed by the Baddest Bidder

It seems like Voltage is on a roll with the English releases! We just had Our Two Bedroom Story come out, but their newest release is darker than previous games. This new game is called Kissed by the Baddest Bidder.

The basic premise of this game is that the MC is a maid for Japan's first casino and hotel. Many famous and rich people come to the hotel for a special party called the I.V.C. It turns out the I.V.C. is a front for a large-scale black-market auction. She is working and sees some things she shouldn't have, and she also manages to break a priceless statue. As a result of her clumsiness, she is auctioned off to repay the debt. And the guy who buys her is?

Right now, there's only 2 characters available - Eisuke Ichinomiya and Soryu Oh. CG's next!
