I feel like Voltage is milking In Your Arms Tonight by continually adding characters that show up next to nowhere in the original characters' stories... That being said, I really liked Ritsu. And megane, so yeah...

So this is me?

Voltage is starting to release a few substories for In Your Arms Tonight, and the first one is for Kippei Ebihara. Ebihara is one of favorite Voltage characters, so I immediately read the story (review and CGs to come). The cool thing about this story is that you can choose whether or not you want to see illustrations of the MC. I chose "yes" because I wanted to see what they would draw her like, and personally, I love her styling.

Simple, yet pretty

I'm sure there's plenty of players out there who won't want to see the illustrations because it may make them feel more detached from the story. I'm likely going to play it through again so I can see if it feels different without the illustrations.

Review:
The sequel takes place a year after Shohei and the MC have begun their relationship. The MC is getting suspicious that he may ask her to marry him soon, but Shohei just starts acting weird. At work, two new employees start, one being oriented by the MC and the other by Aiba. The MC's orientee, Miyata, is really cocky from the get-go and pretty much ruins a proposal to a client with his attitude. The MC spends most of the rest of the story trying to fix that mess. And there's a challenge (or two) to their love that they have to overcome. Decent story, but I'm disappointed there's only one CG for 10 chapters...

Review:
Shohei invites the MC to meet his family. Shohei is very excited about introducing her, but the MC has some worries since she's divorcee. Most of the family is thrilled when the MC arrives - all except for Shohei's sister, Kana. His dad seems curt at first, but he quickly opens up and tells the MC some incredibly embarrassing (yet sweet) stories. After working through the family trouble, the MC and Shohei head back to his place, and in the morning, he has a little surprise for her.

Review:
I feel like with almost all of these games, one of the first people I play is the "guy you've known forever". In Aiba's case, you've known him for 8 years, but you've just recently joined his department. He's ridiculously sweet to the MC most of the time, but can be hard on her if he needs to. He's very talented at his job, and the MC really looks up to him professionally. Aiba really goes out of his way to help the MC, and does silly things if he thinks it will help her feel better. He often hints at his feelings, but the MC seems a little dense to his hints, though everyone else seems to clearly see he's in love with her.
